Rau om! Limnophylla aromatica! Hard to find herb from Vietnam

An oddball that found itself here due to my manic collecting! It’s scent/flavor is one of a kind and difficult to describe. I’m sure it can be used in many ways but I found it was really good chopped up in rice.

This plant can grow very fast in the right conditions. It loves heat and water. It can basically be in the water even!
